Three new projects in the humanities and social sciences join the PEPR!

The Bioproductions research program is expanding with three new projects in the field of humanities and social sciences, winners of the 2025 call for expressions of interest. These three projects will explore the economic, social, political, and cultural dimensions of the bioeconomy.

IFP Energies nouvelles, co-leader of the Bioproductions Priority Research Program and Equipment (PEPR), has announced the appointment of Fadhel Ben Chaabane as co-director of the program. He succeeds Abdelhakim Koudil, whom we warmly thank for his commitment and contribution to structuring the program.

The research team behind the FillingGaps project, led by Gabriel Paës (INRAE), recently published the results of a study aimed at observing wood undergoing controlled decomposition at the cellular level in the journal New Biotechnology (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.nbt.2025.04.001).

Each year, the Bioproductions research program launches a call for international mobility projects open to doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers, and young scientists.
