Fadhel Ben Chaabane appointed co-director of PEPR B-BEST

IFP Energies nouvelles, co-leader of the Bioproductions Priority Research Program and Equipment (PEPR), has announced the appointment of Fadhel Ben Chaabane as co-director of the program. He succeeds Abdelhakim Koudil, whom we warmly thank for his commitment and contribution to structuring the program.

The research team behind the FillingGaps project, led by Gabriel Paës (INRAE), recently published the results of a study aimed at observing wood undergoing controlled decomposition at the cellular level in the journal New Biotechnology (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.nbt.2025.04.001).

Each year, the Bioproductions research program launches a call for international mobility projects open to doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers, and young scientists.

From September 1 to 3, doctoral and postdoctoral students from the Bioproductions program gathered at the IFP School for an intensive training session dedicated to biofuels and the bioeconomy.
