Enzymatic wood degradation: a quantitative approach at the cellular level

The research team behind the FillingGaps project, led by Gabriel Paës (INRAE), recently published the results of a study aimed at observing wood undergoing controlled decomposition at the cellular level in the journal New Biotechnology (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.nbt.2025.04.001).

The Bioproductions research program is opening a new call for applications for international mobility grants (incoming or outgoing) for young researchers, doctoral students, and postdoctoral fellows who wish to enrich their international experience.

From September 1 to 3, doctoral and postdoctoral students from the Bioproductions program gathered at the IFP School for an intensive training session dedicated to biofuels and the bioeconomy.

The FillingGaps project, part of the B-BEST research program, organized a rich and inspiring scientific day on plant imaging and spectroscopy on June 26, 2025, at the Oniris national school in Nantes. The FillingGaps project aims to study the properties of biomass at different scales.
