Policy brief on biotechnology

The PEPR B-BEST is actively involved in policy discussions, particularly at European level.

Read the latest policy brief co-authored by INRAE, the European research infrastructure IBISBA and the PEPR Bioproductions (B-BEST), which highlights several priorities for the bioeconomy and biotechnology in Europe:

  • strengthening the research–innovation continuum
  • promoting and accelerating the market uptake of bioproducts
  • structuring infrastructure and data
  • better integrating AI and digital technologies
  • strengthening public communication to improve general knowledge and foster trust

The PEPR Bioproductions funds ambitious projects promoting interdisciplinarity with a deliberate European focus, in partnership with the IBISBA infrastructure. It includes projects in the humanities and social sciences to study how best to integrate the bioeconomy into French and European society.
