What type of project can be proposed?

In general, the expected Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) are 1-3, with the goal of reaching level 4 by the end of the project. A minimum budget of 800k€ per project is expected to encourage large-scale projects, with the possibility of financing one or more pieces of equipment, provided they do not exceed 35% of the total project budget.

Priority for interdisciplinary projects

The expected projects should adopt an interdisciplinary approach, bringing together communities that do not typically collaborate. The development of these projects requires these communities to meet, get to know each other, exchange ideas, and build the projects together.

To facilitate this, a first phase for submitting letters of intent (optional and non-preselective) will allow for the organization of an exchange workshop on March 5-6, 2024, to refine the details of the complete projects and connect participants interested in the call for projects.
